Vaccines made available to the public are safe and effective

Vaccines are evaluated in clinical trials with thousands of study participants in order to generate enough scientific data to meet the FDA’s strict requirements for safety and effectiveness. After approval, the vaccines will continue to be studied and monitored.

A safe and effective vaccine is a critical step forward to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities.
